Canvey Island Fright Nights is a form of entertainment commonly referred to as a "Haunt " or "Scare Attraction."

The Premise of this type of Live Theatre is to simulate the experience of journeying through a haunted location , Actors in elaborate costumes, Masks and prosthetics.

Using light effects, smoke and some strobe lighting with be used.

"Its like a Ghost train, but with no train."


Q.   Where can I buy my tickets from?

A: Preferably in advance online, however you can purchase tickets in advance from the Ticket Office at the Park. Tickets are also available to buy on the night however these are subject to availability. Tickets purchased on the night will be charged at the normal price.

Q.     Where do I collect my tickets from that I have purchased online?

         A: Collect your tickets from the Ticket Office,

Q.     Do you refund Tickets?

         A: No, unfortunately we operate a No Refund Policy.

Q.    Do you have strobe lights, loud noises, or fog machines and are they health concerns?

        A: Yes we have strobe lights and loud noises which have been known to cause  epileptic     

        seizures, therefore the  Attraction is not advisable for people that suffer from epilepsy.

 Q:   It says you close at 11pm, what happens if we are still queuing for the attraction  when you close?

        A: You will be allowed to enter, we will keep operating until the last person hasbeen through the                         

        Attraction. Please plan your visit and try and arrive withplenty of time , particularly at

        weekends and Halloween itself.

Q:    Are the actors allowed to touch you?

        A. The actors are not allowed to touch you, equally you are not allowed to touch the actors. 

        Aggressive or abusive behaviour towards our actors will not be tolerated and you will be

       escorted from site. If you harm our actors then you will be prosecuted.

Q:     Will my child or myself get scared?

         A: This is a common question and virtually impossible for us to answer. It really depends on the

         individual person, in our experience some people get very scared and others don’t at all.

Q:    Are you open when it rains?

        A: We still operate even in bad weather. please be prepared in case of bad or cold weather   

        conditions. We   

        recommend bringing warm and waterproof clothing.

Q:    What do I wear?

        A: Due to the autumnal weather we

        recommend warm and waterproof clothing. We strongly advise not wearing high heels due to   

        uneven  surfaces.

Q:    Is alcohol allowed on site?

       A: No. If you are found with alcohol on your person it will be confiscated for the duration of your 

       visit. If we       

       think you are under the influence of either drugs or alcohol you will be escorted off site and you 

       will forfeit 

       your ticket.

Q:    Is smoking allowed?

       A: No, we operate a strict No Smoking policy within the Attraction.

Q:   Will I be searched by security?

       A: Searches will be in operation for the safety and security of all in attendance. The submission   

       to a search  of persons attending this event is a condition of entry. If any person refuses to

       submit to a search without 

       justifiable reason, entry will be refused. We reserve the right to confiscate items which

       may cause danger or disruption to the event.

Q:   Which items are prohibited?

       A: The following items may not be brought into the Attraction:

       * Alcohol

       * Liquid (including perfume)

       * Pointed or bladed items

       * Pyrotechnics

Castle Point Ghost Tours and Leisure Island Fun Park  reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. You will experience intense audio & lighting, extreme low visibility, strobe lights, fog, damp or wet conditions. You should not participate if you are pregnant, suffer from claustrophobia, prone to seizures, heart or respiratory problems.

No alcohol is allowed on site, you will not be admitted if you appear to be intoxicated. No smoking, eating or drinking within the haunts. No running, no touching the props. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH the actors. No abusive behaviour. If you violate these rules you may be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

For public safety reasons NO LIQUIDS are to be brought into this event. Bag and coat searches will be in operation for the safety and security of all in attendance. The submission to a search of persons attending this event is a condition of entry. If any person refuses to submit to a search, entry will be refused.

No ticket means no admission. No under 16 year olds without a responsible adult (18+ years). Under 16 year olds must be accompanied through the Attraction by a paying adult. We have a strict no refund policy. The management have the right to refuse entry.
